What families told us they need

  1. The same faces, week after week.

We build a small, steady team around each person, so it is never a different stranger at the door.

  2. On time, and a call if anything changes.

If a caregiver is running late or out sick, you hear it from us first, with a plan for coverage.

  3. A nurse who actually visits.

A registered nurse writes your plan with you and comes back to check that it is working.

What we do

Skilled nursing and daily help, from one team.

Skilled nursing at home.

Registered nurses and licensed practical nurses, in your home.

  • Skilled nursing visits and assessments
  • Medication management and administration
  • Private duty nursing for medically complex children and adults
  • Wound care and help after a hospital stay

Help with daily life.

Certified nursing assistants and direct service workers, for the parts of the day that are hard alone.

  • Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming
  • Meals, light housekeeping, errands
  • Companionship, and respite so family caregivers can rest
  • Support out in the community: school, work, appointments, outings

Who we serve

Different ages, different needs, one address: home.

  • An older man in glasses holding a mug of coffee at his open kitchen window, with purple asters on the sill and palms and water beyond

    Older adults.

Help to stay in the home you know, with your routines, your neighbors and your mornings intact.

  • A teenage girl with Down syndrome in a straw hat walking a sandy dune path toward the Gulf with a canvas tote over her shoulder

    Adults and children with disabilities.

Support that follows you into school, work and the community, not just the living room.

  • A young boy with a tracheostomy pushing a wooden toy boat across the tray of his chair beside a bright window with purple asters on the sill

    Medically complex children.

Private duty nurses who know the equipment, the routines and the child, so a kid can have a childhood at home.

How it starts

Three steps to the first good day.

  1. 01

    Tell us who needs care.

A short call. Who they are, what a good day looks like, what has been hard.

  2. 02

A nurse visits and writes the plan with you.

In your home, around your routines, with your questions answered.

  3. 03

    Your team starts, and stays.

The same caregivers, a schedule you can count on, and a nurse checking back.

Paying for care

Medicaid or private pay. We help you work out which.

Florida Medicaid

We serve Florida Medicaid recipients through home and community-based programs, including the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Long-Term Care plans, the iBudget waiver for people with developmental disabilities, and Medicaid home health for children.

Not sure what you qualify for? Call us. We will tell you honestly, and point you to the right door if it is not ours.

Private pay

Simple hourly rates, no long contracts, and the same screened team.

Many families mix private hours with covered hours to fill the gaps. We will show you how it adds up before anything starts.

A good day, at home

Press and hold the sun to let the day unfold.

  1. 7 AMUp, dressed, breakfast, medications.
  2. 11 AMA nurse visit, then a walk to the mailbox.
  3. 3 PMSchool pickup, therapy, the park.
  4. 7 PMDinner, a shower, settled in. The family gets a night off.

That is the whole job. A good day, at home.

Questions families ask

What happens when a caregiver calls out?

You hear from us first, not from an empty doorway. We keep screened caregivers who already know your plan ready to step in, so a sick day does not become a missed visit.

Will we get the same caregiver each time?

That is the goal from day one. We build a small, steady team around each client so the faces stay familiar and the routines hold.

Are your caregivers employees? Are they screened?

Yes. Our nurses, aides and direct service workers are Aster Care employees, trained by us, and every one passes Florida's Level 2 background screening before meeting a client.

Can we meet the caregiver before care starts?

Yes. Meeting first is part of how we match people.

How fast can care start?

Often within days of the nurse visit. Hospital discharges and urgent needs move faster. Call us and we will give you a real date.

Do you care for children?

Yes. Children with disabilities and medically complex children, at home and out in the community, including private duty nursing.

Which parts of Florida do you cover?

Florida's Gulf Coast. If you are near the edge of our area, call anyway. We will tell you straight.

Request a care call

Tell us who needs care.

One short conversation. No pressure and no paperwork yet. Just a real person who can tell you what is possible.

We never share your details. Asking does not commit you to anything.
